Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

On the 4th of July, we love to get together with all of our closest friends and loved ones to celebrate the birth of our great nation. If you have yet to make plans, do not worry.

You can still make a patriotic playlist or tackle some DIY arts and crafts projects with the little ones. We are currently in the process of making our own party decorations, in case you are curious.

The menu is arguably the most crucial aspect of the proceedings. The Independence Day cookouts are always filled with awesome recipes and drinks for guests to enjoy. Desserts are also an absolute must. Sometimes, cookouts are not in the cards, though. This places us in a position where we are going to have to improvise and run to a restaurant.

It does not matter if you do not have access to a quality grill or a sizable kitchen. Maybe you just don’t want to deal with cooking this year, and that’s understandable enough. Thankfully, there are some restaurants that will be open to meet your needs.

Of course, you’ll want to call your local restaurants before the big day arrives to confirm if they’ll be open or not. However, across the board, there are some restaurants that will be open.

Bahama Breeze is going to be open at their normal hours, along with Bob Evans. Bonefish Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake Factory, Chili’s, Cracker Barrel, Denny’s, Firehouse Subs, IHOP, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Ruth’s Chris, Starbucks, Texas Roadhouse, and Yard House will also be open for the big day.

It might be a ‘Cheesecake Factory and chill’ kind of night for us.
