More About the Class:

We are making three different unique version of chocolate chip cookies in bar, shortbread, and pie form. We all know our favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe somewhere, but have you tried them this way? Starting with a chocolate chip bar cookie made in two layers. A chewy cookie base with a crispy fluffy meringue topping. This is the Delta bar that fold pecans into your cookie forming a crispy exterior and gooey chocolate interior. Betty Crocker knew she had a banging idea with this one. Next we are making a classic shortbread cookie into a chocolate chip version by adding chocolate. Chop the chocolate pieces up and roll it up into your cookies before coating your cookie in a sugar crust. There are few better hot beverage cookies than this with it’s crumbly melt-in-your-mouth taste. Last up is a cookie pie that takes the skillet chocolate chip cookie to a whole new place. A pie filled with chocolate chips, potato chips, pretzels, and more. It’s a chewy gooey chocolate chip pie that of course get’s better with a scoop of ice cream. Impress your friends with this show stopping dessert. Make your own pie crust if you dare!
