Some dogs are just born a little different looking, but their appearance may be the thing that wins over the hearts of the people around them.
That was the case for Mugshot, a sweet bulldog with a unique appearance. Mugshot was surrendered to Road Dogs & Rescue in Los Angeles, California.
We’re not sure why his owners gave him up, but his new mom couldn’t imagine losing the sight of his sweet face every day!
In an interview with GeoBeats Animals, the founder of the rescue said, “The minute I saw his photo, I was like, ‘I wanna foster that one.'”
She ended up naming him Mugshot because she thought he was the most handsome dog.
She said, “It’s criminal to be this good looking.”

The sweet bulldog was incredibly shy at first, but he warmed up to his new home quickly. He ended up being a lazy dog with the biggest heart and would let the other foster pups chew on his legs.
Mugshot has the squishiest face and his tongue is always sticking out, both things his owner finds endearing.
Sadly, according to the Smithsonian Magazine, it’s also those facial features and body build that makes them prone to health issues.
