Little Debbie’s Oatmeal Creme Pies have been an American favorite for 60 years now. To celebrate this milestone, Little Debbie’s announced on December 29 that they are launching an Oatmeal Creme Pie breakfast cereal.
According to Kellogg, the cereal comes with oatmeal cookie flavored cereal pieces, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of molasses. The sweet and creamy coating will remind you of the Oatmeal Creme Pies that you grew up enjoying.

The best part? It’s already in stores! You can also purchase a box online at Wal-Mart for $3.64.
“It’s a joyous moment to see one of our fans’ most-loved Little Debbie products — the Oatmeal Creme Pie — be transformed for a new eating experience,” says Jeff Badger, McKee Foods vice president of marketing. “The cereal captures the flavor of Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies in a fun, new way, whether you enjoy it in a bowl with milk or straight out of the box.”

A whopping number of Oatmeal Creme Pies have been sold all over the world ever since their inception. This is not a phenomenon that is strictly limited to America. Since 1960, over 138 billion Oatmeal Creme Pies have been sold worldwide. We’re going to go out on a huge limb and assume that we are responsible for at least one billion of those sales by ourselves!
All jokes aside, we are just glad to see these treats being turned into a cereal that we do not have to wait to buy.
