Handwashing has become a hot topic in recent years. The pandemic has opened our eyes to the need to wash our hands more frequently, but our kids aren’t always on board with it.

That problem may be a thing of the past, thanks to a unique hack posted on TikTok. Known as the LEGO hand wash, this little trick is sure to motivate your kids to keep their hands clean.

The idea is rather simple. Put LEGO cubes in a pump bottle and fill it with hand soap. When the kids use all the soap to wash their hands, they get to keep the Legos.

I’ve tried a lot of different things to get my children to wash their hands regularly. Rewarding them is one of the only things that could work, but there are a few times when they get around the issue.

Some commenters thought that might be a problem with this particular hack.

Some mothers said their children would use all of the soap for a single wash, and others said it was just a way to teach their children to use 20 pumps every time they wash their hands. Some parents worried it might encourage their kids to wash their hands TOO much!

Even though there were some naysayers, the post itself received over 21,000 likes and was viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
