I think that most people would agree with me when I say that there is nothing quite like having a sweet treat. One of those treats comes in the form of doughnuts, and Krispy Kreme is the ultimate place to get them.
In order to take our enjoyment of their doughnut flavors to a new level, the doughnut outlet is now offering an interesting sweet for the summer. It is a glazed soft-serve ice cream that is sure to be an instant success.
In a press release, the company revealed that in order to make the Original Glazed Softserve Ice Cream, they took the ingredients from Krispy Kreme’s original glazed doughnut and added them to a frozen treat. At this time, it is only being offered in 10 cities in the United States but they are hoping to expand that in the future.
You can get the soft-serve in Charlotte, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem in North Carolina; Greenville, South Carolina; Norfolk and Newport News, Virginia; Charleston, West Virginia; Nashville and the Tri-Cities area in Tennessee; and San Antonio, Texas.
Other cities that will be getting this treat in the future include Mobile Alabama, Tampa, Pensacola Florida, New Orleans, Wichita Kansas, and Branson Missouri.
In the press release, the chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, Dave Skena said: “The introduction of Original Glazed Soft Serve Ice Cream is a big day for Krispy Kreme and our fans.”
He went on to talk about the love that people have for Krispy Kreme and how combining it with ice cream is sure to take their enjoyment to a new level. To ensure that, they are making the waffle cones out of Krispy Kreme doughnut mix and including a glazed flavoring.
The ice cream is being offered in Original Glazed but they are also serving up some soft-serve in chocolate iced and strawberry iced sprinkles flavors.
