When it comes to taking care of our pets, there really are no limits. We do whatever we can to ensure that they are healthy, happy, and living the life of Riley – at least, that’s the case for dogs and cats. Many people also go out of their way to care for their other pets, like chickens, but those animals don’t have the same protections as typical “pets” do.
Dedicated owners will still do everything they can to provide their chickens a comfortable life, and one of the ways they do that is by providing them with a chicken coop. Admittedly, some people use the coops to provide entertainment for humans, and some of the entertainment comes at a cost to the chickens.
This includes some chicken coops that are fashioned after a KFC restaurant and it seems as if they are becoming more popular – and controversial.
Ash WoodWorks posted pictures of these chicken coops to Facebook that show creativity and a little dark humor. If only the poor birds knew they were living in a coop with Colonel Sanders stenciled on the outside and the word KFC above the front door! A lot of detail went into this coop, but it’s really just for the humans’ enjoyment.
James Hughes has also created one of these two-level chicken coops and posted it to Facebook. I’m sure it has some heads turning as people drove by.
