This year, June is Pride Month and GLAAD and Kellogg’s have partered to create the perfect cereal for the occasion.
They’ve created the Together With Pride cereal that features heart-shaped pieces dusted with glitter. The new breakfast addition is designed to celebrate the fact that we can all have a seat at the same table.
Kellogg’s initial partnership with GLAAD began back in 2019 with their All Together campaign, which combined a number of our classic favorites, including Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Raisin Bran, and Corn Flakes.
As for the new cereal, it looks a lot like Froot Loops but it comes in a different shape. This heart-shaped cereal is sure to look pretty in your bowl but that’s not what this is all about. The berry flavoring is a great touch and so is the glittery topping.
If you would like to take home a box, they’ll be available beginning mid-March. Kellogg announced on Instagram, “All are welcome at the breakfast table with our NEW Together with Pride cereal coming to shelves soon. For every box sold, Kellogg is donating $3 to @glaad to support the LGBTQ+ community.”
The boxes come in a 7.8-ounce size and are only $3.99 each. All you need to do is upload your receipt and your box purchase on the Kellogg’s Family Rewards site after you have made your purchase and Kellogg’s will donate $3 to GLAAD. The company has committed to a donation of at least $100,000 and they are willing to go as high as $140,000.
Anyone who purchases a box of this cereal between the dates of May 1 and November 30 is free to apply. There is only one note that we need to add: the upload must take place within 30 days of the initial purchase in order to remain valid.
