Like humans, dogs have their own unique quirks – it’s one of the reasons we love them so much! Sometimes, those quirks can end up creating more work for their owner, though.

Joe the mastiff makes his owner, 33-year-old Christopher Wing, work extra hard to clear the pathways in front of him. Despite his large size, Joe doesn’t like to put in any effort to step over obstacles, even the smallest ones.

In a viral video, Chris, also known as @cast_iron_chris, shares the perfect example of Joe’s antics. In the video, you can see Chris attempting to call Joe in from playing outside.

The dog was enjoying a romp in his New Jersey yard, where was covered in fresh, white snow. However, during his playtime, a bit of a snowdrift had built up in front of the door.

The snow only created a small mound in front of the entryway to the house, but it was enough to make Joe stop in his tracks. The dog absolutely refused to walk over the snow mound, despite his owner’s pleas.

Eventually, Chris gave up and pulled out a shovel to clear the path for his spoiled pooch. Watch the clip below:
