When it comes to salads, the dressing can often make or break the dish. That’s why we love to go with homemade so we can have full control over what ingredients are used and achieve just the flavor we’re looking for. The Honey Balsamic Dressing recipe we have for you today strikes the perfect balance of sweet and tangy and will take any dish to the next level. It takes just five ingredients and a little salt and pepper to make, easy-peasy!

The natural sweetness of the honey helps mellow out the bite of a strong balsamic vinegar without making the dressing overly sweet. A squirt of dijon mustard amplifies the overall flavor and an olive oil base gives the dressing a smooth and rich feel. Whisk it all together and your dressing is ready to be served. The final results are beautifully balanced and taste so much better than anything store-bought.

Pour it over a classic salad of greens, use it as a marinade, or drizzle it over some roasted veggies. There’s no wrong time for flavors this tasty. If you’ve never made dressing from scratch we highly recommend you give this recipe a try. It only takes a couple extra minutes and you’re sure to taste the difference.
