As an American living abroad, I’ve discovered it’s pretty easy to find many familiar products in the city where I’m living. When I first left the US, I was a little concerned that I’d be relying on my parents sending me semi-regular care packages full of my favorite items such as Pop-Tarts or Cheetos. But luckily for me, that hasn’t been the case.
Most stores do carry the American brands that we all know and love, however, there might be slight differences in the way items taste – depending on how they’re made. Different countries might use different ingredients to what you’d find in the US, resulting in varying tastes of some of our favorite items.
