Don’t Touch Food With Left Hand In The Middle East

It is considered extremely bad form to eat with your left hand in most Middle Eastern countries, India, and some African countries. The left hand is used to clean yourself up after going to the bathroom, so having it anywhere near food is a total social faux pas. Some places go as far as to consider having your left hand on the table to be rude. So, only eat with your right hand, and only socialize with your right hand as well. No shaking hands with the left, or patting people on the back with the left hand!

Wine Rules In Georgia

People in Georgia take their wine very seriously. There are two major rules when partaking in wine in this beautiful country. First, you can only drink the wine in your glass after a heartfelt toast – and if there’s wine, there will be a toast. Second, once the toast is over, you have to drink the whole glass! Bottoms up!
