Generation Z is always coming up with new twists on very common activities and apparently, daily showering is no different.
We did not realize that this was an activity that could be improved upon, but hey, what do we know? We will have to defer to the kids on this one, we suppose. This brings us to the titular question: What is an “everything shower” and why has this trend become so popular?
It is the latest obsession for many, that is for sure. Is it necessary? We highly doubt it but they seem to be having a lot of fun.
As with most trends on TikTok, there are those who are singing its praises. There are also those who do not see the point of doing all of this. The “everything shower” is exactly what it sounds like, which is somewhat of a surprise.
Instead of simply taking a normal shower like the rest of us, these people are in there doing everything all at once. If you are going to be taking an everything shower, you need to start carving out an hour of the day, at a bare minimum. This is the amount of time that you are going to need in order to truly pamper yourself.
There is a pre-shower routine that must be handled and a post-shower routine as well. Oils, serums, soaps, and cleaners are used.
Some start with dry brushing or airbrushing. Face masks, deep conditioning masks, makeup removers and scalp treatments will be utilized. From there, the shower is turned on, as we wait for the water to get nice and hot.

After all of the necessary steps are taken care of, it is time to take care of all of your shampooing, conditioning, exfoliating, shaving, and washing needs.
