Many people don’t know that butter comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. In fact, the West Coast of the United States typically uses a different style of butter than what is used on the East Coast. Regardless of how it is shaped, however, there’s no doubt that we use a lot of it but that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate it when it is shaped in a unique way.
Keller Creamery is upping the ante this holiday season by creating butter in the shape of a little bunny. The detail is really amazing, and it almost looks too good to cut into, but then again, you’re going to want to butter your biscuit with something!
Cynthia Martin found the butter and shared it on Instagram. She said, “Yep. Had to happen. All about butter sculptures up here in MN.” Someone commented on the post, saying, “I swear that looks like a white chocolate rabbit and I would eat it as such”
While it might look like a white chocolate bar, but its’ far from it. When you have one of the bunny butters in front of you, you are looking at 8 tablespoons of butter. It even comes with its own decorative dish and will retain its shape, even if you let it set out and get soft so it’s easier to spread. They are made from salted butter, so keep that in mind if you are going to be using them in a recipe.
Since this specialty butter is only available during the Easter holiday, you will have to go to the store during March and April to pick it up. They are available in a number of different stores, including, but not limited to, Stop & Shop, Harris Teeter, Wegmans, and Winn-Dixie.
Looks like it may be time to go stock up on some butter for the holiday!
