If you are anything like us, you have probably drank more than a few Dr. Pepper sodas over the course of your life. It’s a great brand and it’s been one of our absolute favorites for quite some time now. The COVID-19 lockdowns have had a negative impact on the soda’s availability, though. Diet Dr. Pepper has gotten especially hard to find as of late, which is kind of depressing.
There are bigger concerns at the moment but we digress. Dr. Pepper has confirmed that they are aware of the current shortage but they are working tirelessly to make sure that it is taken care of quickly. Things should be stocked back up as soon as possible and that is music to our ears. Their tweet was simple and they got straight to the point: “We know it’s harder to find Dr Pepper these days. We’re working on it–hang tight!”

A helpful graphic was also attached to the tweet. “Having trouble finding your favorite Dr. Pepper product? We’re doing everything we can to get it back into your hands. That means working with our distribution partners to keep shelves stocked nationwide, while ensuring the safety of our employees,” the graphic read.
The message was designed to ease current fears and we are happy to see it. In case you were wondering, the message does apply to all of your favorite flavors, including cream soda. Fans replied to the message with all of their sad stories about not being able to find their favorite soda in stores, and the whole thread makes for a good read.

Many of the Twitter users who replied to the tweet were just glad to see that Dr. Pepper is admitting that they are struggling to keep their sodas in stock. It’s not everyday that you see companies like these taking the time to offer this level of transparency.
