Dolly Parton Shares Hack For Making The Perfect Scrambled Eggs
Dolly Parton is the sort of woman who wears a lot of hats. She’s an actress, a country music star, and is also well known for being one of the kindest celebrities.
However, this does not mean that she is unable to handle normal, everyday tasks. She’s always talking about how much she loves to cook and she happens to be really, really good at it.

In a recent sit down with Gayle King of CBS, she said that her mother and her other relatives helped to increase her passion for cooking.
As a native southerner, she knows a number of recipes from the region but you won’t need to know about these to handle this set of pointers from the songstress. She spoke out about her process when it comes to making scrambled eggs and it is a must-see.

She gave Insider a Zoom interview where she went into greater detail. As it turns out, there is just one pointer that we needed to know about. It is a trick that is so simple, you won’t be able to believe that you didn’t come up with it before. One thing is for sure, though: we are certainly going to be using this one on a regular basis going forward.
“Somebody told me this once and it works. When you crack your eggs in the bowl, say if you’re going to scramble them, use ice water. Put a few drops of ice water as you’re cooking them and that makes them fluffier — it really does!” Parton says. Since she cooks eggs for her husband every weekend, it is safe to say that she knows what she is talking about.

“This is not diet food now, mind you,” Parton said. We are okay with that, though. There’s nothing wrong with some good old-fashioned down-home cooking. “I just cook whatever comes to mind and whatever I’m in the mood for. I can cook any of it!” she explains.
We are also looking forward to trying out her new collaboration with Duncan Hines. They have come together to create a line of cake mixes and frostings that look absolutely scrumptious.
