It’s always sweet when dogs and cats are BFFs with one another, but it’s even sweeter when they help each other out.

One dog happens to be best friends with a cat who suffers from cerebellar hypoplasia, but he doesn’t let that ruin their friendship. Instead, he takes an opportunity to help his disabled cat buddy in the sweetest way!

According to VCAHospitals, cerebellar hypoplasia in cats is when the part of the brain responsible for fine motor skills, balance, and coordination doesn’t fully develop.

It’s not a painful condition, but it can make life a little bit harder for the felines affected. They may not be able to walk very well and getting around can take some time.

In a now-viral video, the animals’ owner held up her cats favorite toy: a stuffed donut. She called the cat to come and get it, but as the cat got up and started to hobble over, the dog also jumped up and beat the cat to the toy!

The owner thought the dog was taking the toy for himself, and said, “I wasn’t talking to you, but ok.” However, in a sweet turn of events, the dog walks the toy over to the cat and gently lays it down beside her!
