Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

If you have ever seen glass bottle spirals in the past, they are spellbinding, aren’t they? When we have seen them, we marvel because we cannot possibly fathom having the ability to create them on our own.

Now, thanks to this tutorial, we will finally be able to do so. It’s one of the coolest videos that we have come across recently, that is for sure.

We love the videos that take the impossible and make it seem more attainable. Thanks to the help of Big WR, a popular YouTube science blogger, we have been able to do just that.

The process is easy enough to understand, surprisingly enough. To get started, Big WR takes the time to carefully measure the shape of each spiral.

From there, he painstakingly cuts each of them out. This allows for each of the extruding spirals to separate from the bottle more easily. For further effect, he then takes a moment to place each piece under some light.

“You’ll learn the patience, skill, and creativity that hand-cut glass techniques require. In addition, we will also see how this amazing spiral design presents a special visual effect when illuminated,” the description reads.

If anything, this description actually sells the video short a bit. It is somehow even cooler than you would think.

There is no substitute for the happiness that comes with knowing that we can now handle this complex process on our own. Check out the video below to see for yourself:

Now, if you will excuse us, we are going to be planning the perfect location to place our glass spirals once we are finished with them.
