This is the holiday beauty trend you didn’t ask to see but will be everywhere this holiday season. The height-defying hairstyle is styled to look like a Christmas tree.
According to the Daily Mail, the look is created when “people style their hair into an upside-down cone shape, mimicking a Christmas tree before decorating their strands with ornaments.”
We know what you’re thinking…How do you get your hair to stand up like that?
“A video by What’s Trending said the style was achieved by placing an empty water bottle or cone on top of your head as a guide,” states the Daily Mail article. “The hair was then smoothed up over the top of the bottle or cone and held in place with a hair elastic and hair spray.”
They must be using the world’s strongest hairspray because there was no way I could get my hair to stay up like this.
