8) Blue Jeans

Blue jeans started becoming more popular in the ’50s for teens. The trendy look was disconnected from the manual labor that had necessitated denim in years past. The cuffed jean look became iconic of the ’50s and opened the door for a whole new generation to express themselves in denim.
