Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Holidays can be tough from a food prep standpoint. You’ll be getting everything ready to cook and then you realize that you are missing one key ingredient. Or, you might have realized that you will need an extra chair or two to seat all of the family members that are stopping by. When these situations arise, we are often left to wonder if we have any options available to us.

Easter is right around the corner and those who wish to be proactive should probably start considering these things now.

For example, if you are going to be needing anything from Target this Easter, you will want to make sure that you have already obtained it ahead of time. Otherwise, you could find yourself going without this year.

Target is known for closing on Easter Sunday, in order to give their employees a well-deserved day off. While we are still waiting for confirmation on this matter, we are going to go ahead and assume that the policy will remain in place this year. We will be getting all of our candy and decorations ahead of time, that is for sure. Why even risk it?

On the bright side of things, Target is slated to be open on the days that are leading up to Easter. We are here to tell you….the candies that they have on hand are excellent and you are going to want to grab some while you can. Don’t make the all too common mistake of waiting until the very last minute in these instances.

After all, who wants to be stuck in the car driving to the store when they could be at home enjoying delicious Easter candy?

As far as we know, Publix is also going to be closed so you will need to start planning accordingly. If you have any further plans for Easter that involve the assistance of retail locations, you will definitely want to check ahead of time.

The last thing that you want is to get into the car on Easter and drive to a store that is not even open. We have all been there before, right? There are few things more annoying than having your heart set on one particular thing and not being able to get it.
