Strawberry Filling
Yield(s): Makes 2 cups

Ingredients
- 8 oz. fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 lemon, juiced
Preparation
- In a small sauce pot, add strawberries, sugar and lemon juice over medium low heat.
- Cook until strawberries are softened, reduce heat to low if necessary. Adjust sugar to your sweetness preference.
- Add cornstarch to jam, and turn heat to medium high. Cook until mixture starts to dramatically thicken, remove from heat, and cool.
- Enjoy!
