YouTube star Ashley may be better known as the Hustle at Home Mom but to us, she is now known as an absolute genius.
Just wait until you see what happened when she decided to make a relatively small investment.
She had the chance to take home a plethora of clothes and shoes from a storage unit and only had to pay $250 for the privilege.
Once she had the items in hand, she set about the task of flipping them for profit. It all started While she was at a garage sale, spending hours upon hours looking through all of the clothes on hand.
Once the person who was running the garage sale asked her if she would want to take a closer look at his storage unit, she did not need long to think about it.
She said yes right away and the decision was a smart one. There were 103 pieces that she was able to take home and for $250. In the video, she said: “This is my favorite thing to do,” as she went through her treasure trove looking for the best stuff.
It wasn’t long before Ashley’s gut instincts about this pile were proven correct. She managed to locate an Urban Zen utility romper in the stash that was retailed around $1,000. Once this item was sold, she was already in the black.
“I think this retailed for like $1,000,” Ashley shared with the audience, making sure to add that the one-piece will typically sell used for hundreds on eBay. “I didn’t even know.”
