Snoop Dogg has definitely come a long way since we were first introduced to him through his music way back when. Can you believe that we are coming up on the 30th anniversary of the release of his debut album, Doggystyle?
While he still puts out music at a regular clip, he’s become a major celebrity to the new generation, as there are many young people who are probably unaware of his earlier exploits.
Now, he is a pitchman who is sought out by all of the big companies. Between him and Shaq, we are not sure who gets more endorsement opportunities but we love to see it! This latest venture is a natural choice and we cannot believe that it did not happen sooner. The “Snoop Doggs” hot dog brand is on the way.
In December of 2021, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office received word from the rap star about a federal trademark registration for the “Snoop Doggs.” The trademark office that sent the paperwork represents Calvin Broadus, which happens to be Snoop’s real name.
There is precious little information available about the hot dogs otherwise but we are sure that we will hear more very soon. The intent to use the application that Snoop’s team has filed speaks volumes. This signals that they have serious intent to provide us with these hot dogs very soon. It’s an exciting piece of news, for sure.
We should have seen this one coming, as it was rather inevitable. We just wonder if Snoop’s friend Martha Stewart is going to be involved here. If we had to bet, she has all sorts of awesome hot dog-related recipes to share with us. In the meantime, we will simply have to imagine what these hot dogs are going to be like.
As for Snoop, we look forward to seeing what he cooks up next (see what we did there)? This is one celebrity who is simply never going to fumble the bag, no matter what!
