Children are some of the most brutally honest people that you are ever going to meet. They tell it exactly like it is because they do not have a filter.
The idea of biting their tongue never occurred to them. That’s what makes this little girl’s conversation with her mother such a hilarious one. When she told her mother that she wanted to be skinny when she grows up, it goes off the rails from there.
Mom made the mistake of asking her if she knows any fat people. She definitely should have thought twice before she lobbed this child an underhanded softball to knock out of the park.
The look on her face when her mother asks the fateful question should tell you everything that you need to know here. “There’s one right in front of me,” she replies in the TikTok video.
At least her mother has a good sense of humor about the whole thing. There are a lot of parents who would have freaked out and gotten upset. This mother is not one of them. After all, how can she even be mad? She set herself up for this one and walked right into it. How did she not see this coming?
You can’t ever expect a child to sugarcoat anything for you. They are not about to spare your feelings and this little girl’s demeanor is too funny. She was not even looking for the laugh, that’s what makes it even funnier. She was simply speaking her mind and it happened to be hilarious. Mom appreciates it, you can tell.
You don’t even have to be a parent yourself to appreciate this one. We have all been on the other end of this type of conversation. Children are not known for holding back in any situation.
It does not matter if you are related to them or if they have even met you before. They are going to tell you exactly what they think and feel at all times.
@theshaderoom Now y’all know these babies don’t sugarcoat anything!! 😩 (🎥: @itserica__ on IG) #fyp #foryoupage #TheShadeRoom #BlackTikTok #Viral
That is part of their charm, after all. Sometimes, it is nice to spend time around someone who does not have a filter and is willing to tell you what is on their mind at all times.
