Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

If you look in your kitchen drawers, I’m sure that you will see many pieces of Tupperware that are stacked, sometimes neatly and sometimes haphazardly. They are perfect for many different uses, but sometimes we just use them for leftovers. If you are somebody who stores something in plastic containers, you already know that tomato sauce stains them and it is difficult if not “impossible” to get rid of that stain.

Now we have a way to get rid of those stains and our life will never be the same.

The first thing you need to do is to make a paste out of water and baking soda. Apply plenty of it to the stained area of the plastic container and allow it to sit for a few hours. Rinse the container and wash it as you normally would.

This is the @foodlion brand of White Distilled Vinegar. For the last 40 days, I’ve been trying to come off deodorant. My mom did it first & I haven’t had the time for the “funky stage” of the transition…but during quarantine, it was perfect! Now I’m done! I got a small spray bottle & filled it up with 100% distilled vinegar. All I use is a few sprays in the morning (yes you smell like vinegar till it drys) & then a few more before going to bed. That’s it! No deodorant & I’m good!! I’m happy with the change & it’s healthier. #foodlion #distilledvinegar #nodeodorant #healthybody

You should now make a solution of 50% water and 50% distilled vinegar. Pour the solution in the container and allow it to soak for a few hours. Dump the solution and rewash the plastic container.

🍋We LOVE Meyer lemon season because that means we get to make one of our all time favourites: preserved lemons. 🍋These type of lemons are the only ones we recommend – they have an extraordinary fragance, thin skin and mild flavour. They are just perfect for preserving and right now, they are ridiculously cheap. You'd be a fool not to give them a go. #bestkepthealth #guthealth #lemons #meyerlemon #citrus #healthcoaching #health #wellness #preservedlemons #foodgram #foodphotography #f52grams #eeeeeats #huffposttaste #instafood

Finally, slice a lemon and rub lemon juice on the inside of the stained container. Put it in the sun for a few hours and wash it once again.

All that’s left to do at this point is enjoy your clean container!
