Batches 9189-9295 of the above productsare being recalled due to possible foreign matter. Nestlé said that the contaminants in this case were pieces of food-grade rubber. The affected batches include bars, tubs and tube-shaped “chubs”. The batch number is located near the “best by” date and appears before the number “5753”.
The recall went ahead after customer reports of non-food objects in their cookie dough. Nestlé says the company has identified the source of the problem and have since fixed it. The recalled batches include Halloween, Christmas, autumn, Disney’s Frozen, and the Ultimates cookie dough, among others.
