Woman Horrified When Man Pulls Out A Stack Of Ribs Mid-Flight

If you have ever flown before, you have probably had to share a flight with someone who did not know how to act.

For us, the main issue that we always encounter is people who choose the worst possible foods to eat. There are certain foods that you just shouldn’t be eating on a long flight and we find ourselves scratching our heads at some of the foolish choices we’ve seen.

This woman recently experienced this issue firsthand, as she was forced to share a flight with someone who decided to break out an entire tray of BBQ. Of course, she had to take to social media to vent her frustrations about the ordeal.

The internet, as you would expect, wasted no time turning this into yet another debate about the best way to act on an airplane.

You would think that we would have some form of consensus on this by now but of course, we do not. We are trapped in an era where in flight lunacy seems to be at an all time high, with absolutely no end in sight. Lanna Tolland, who hails from Scotland, is the one who was stuck on this fight and social media had a lot to say in response to her post.

“No chance is the guy next to me eating a full rack of ribs plus sides on this plane,” she said on Twitter. While there were many who registered their disapproval, there were others who wanted to stick up for the man’s BBQ binge. Some folks even jumped right into fat shaming.

“Based on the non-existent gap between his belly and the tray I’d say this isn’t his first full rack of ribs eaten on a plane,” said Janet Davis.

“People at the airport, we order coffees black and croissants. Nothing more,” tweeted Emily Lamb.

Meanwhile, some stood up for the man and acted like her rage was borne totally out of jealousy.

“My absolute hero — if you don’t respect this power move, it says more about you than him,” said Mike Walsh. Others pointed out that they came from an airport restaurant called Frankie and Benny’s, as you can see from the picture below:

They appeared to be baked ribs, not smoked.

“I doubt any airport restaurant is smoking ribs. Baked ribs aren’t worth this hassle,” said one BBQ lover.

Where do you stand on this one? Major faux pas or no big deal?
