Being a mom comes with a lot of different responsibilities. Not only do you have to juggle adult responsibilities like work and paying bills, but you also need to make sure you take care of your kids and all their needs.
On top of that there is trying to maintain a life of your own. It can be quite exhausting. But it can also come with moments of fun – especially if you get to spend time with your kids partaking in various activities.
Schools often take advantage of this by hosting different nights for parents to spend time with their kids. One football team, the Washington Community High School, from Washington, IL, found a rather fun night that they could host for moms ahead of the school’s football season.
The so-called “Mom’s Night” was a pre-season night where all the team’s mothers got to learn about the equipment, the different rules of the game, and of course, they got to play too!
But perhaps the best part of the evening was that they were allowed to fully tackle their sons during the game.
Given that the team is full of teenagers, we’re sure at least a few moms had some payback to spare for all that lovely teen angst!
