If you love to travel, you realize that there can be some issues involved with it. This includes speaking a different language or visiting an area where you don’t understand the language of choice.
One traveler that experienced this was a British woman who was in Turkey. Rather than struggling through the situation, however, she did what most people do and used Google Translate to help muddle through.
In fact, she discovered something that was so impressive, she couldn’t help but share it on TikTok. She discovered it when she was out at a restaurant and there weren’t any English versions of their menu.
This can be a frustrating situation but with Google Translate by your side, the possibilities are endless. Perhaps you’ve used it to have a brief conversation with others but there is a part of the app that you may not have known about.
She said: “Oh my God guys. My mind has been blown. I’m at a restaurant at the moment and they don’t do an English menu and they don’t speak a lot of English either. So and I was like, ‘It’s fine, I’ll just put it in my Google Translate.”
“I went and downloaded the app for convenience for the rest of the trip and then I saw a little feature.”
After pressing on the camera symbol in the app, she was able to take a picture of the menu and it was translated within seconds.
After being posted, the video received over 1 million views in no time at all. Some people claim that they knew about the app but others have had their travel world changed.
