The overwhelmingly popular color choice in the ’70s was brown. How many of us hung out on a brown couch or had brown pants? Many autumnal colors were also popular – mainly because they went so well with brown!

Bright colors were all over the place in the ’80s with fast-moving market for kids and teens dominating the market and the color palette of the decade. Particularly commons was a combination of bright colors in an eye-catching array which appealed to children.
