For those who are fans of the neo-Western drama, “Yellowstone,” there is some exciting news. You have a chance to stay at the fictional Dutton Ranch

The fictional story is filmed by Paramount at the 2,500-acre Chief Joseph Ranch in Darby, Montana. But when Paramount isn’t using the space for filming, it’s actually a place where you can rent overnight luxury cabins. That means you can live your “Yellowstone” fantasy!

As the ranch’s website states, “With Trapper Peak framing your sunsets and the Bitterroot River Valley at your doorstep, we are proud to welcome you to the perfect Western Montana getaway.”

On the official Twitter for the show, there was a tour of the Chief Joseph Ranch. The owners of the ranch shared some insights, such as the property wasn’t listed as a film location, and the ranch actually became a setting for the series through a cold call.

“Yellowstone” went on to become a hit on Paramount, and Variety ended up calling it the most-watched scripted show on TV last year.

For those unfamiliar with the premise, it’s basically a Western soap opera as the story follows the sixth-generation Dutton family and their patriarch, portrayed by Kevin Costner – who are entangled with various struggles of the Yellowstone Ranch, such as developers, the national park, the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation and, even each other at times.

If you want to be a real-life guest at the ranch, you can even book Lee Dutton’s cabin, which is named after the oldest son in the Dutton family. Another popular stay is the century-old Fisherman cabin which has beautiful views of the Bitterroot River.

It’s no surprise it’s a popular pick with those visiting Montana for its fishing. Rates begin at $1,200 a night for four people, and each additional guest is an extra $50 per night. There is a maximum of 8 guests. The ranch also rents out their “Rip’s Cabin” also known as the Ben Cook Cabin, which is a spacious area with a loft and two porches. For this one, it’s $1,500 a night for four people and each extra guest is $50. And like the others, there is a maximum total of 8 guests.

The property only books rooms during the summer months, however, sometimes filming schedules might interrupt that. At the moment, there aren’t any reservations, but if you’re a “Yellowstone” fan in the area, you can still show up to the gates to sneak a picture of Dutton Ranch sign when there isn’t filming happening.

As for the “Yellowstone” show itself, it is set to return for a fifth season on the Paramount Network come November 13. There is also a prequel to “Yellowstone” currently in development called “1932.” Starring in it will be Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, and the storyline will follow the Dutton family on their ranch during the Great Depression.
