It feels like a score when you get a great photo of yourself, but it’s a shame when that photo is with someone that’s out of the picture, relationship-wise. Well, an older woman didn’t want to take down a photo and decided to update it in a way that had people on the internet laughing.

Relationships do come and go, and parting ways is nothing new. It’s been shown that divorce among those 50 and older, called gray divorce, is higher than those younger than 50. So starting anew is definitely not a new phenomenon for many of the baby boomer generation.

Though the backstory wasn’t disclosed, it’s obvious that this woman’s marriage during the 1970s or early 1980s didn’t really last into the present day.

Despite the marriage failing, she didn’t want to get rid of everything. And who can blame her? This woman looked beautiful in this couple’s photo and she’s obviously proud of the end photo result.

I’m sure she could’ve asked someone with some photoshop skills to edit it, but she took the matter into her own hands and found a photo of Leonardo DiCaprio, cut out the actor’s head, and slapped it over her ex’s face.

From a distance, it’s hard to notice the edit. The woman did a great job at finding a picture of the actor with similar lighting, white balance, and orientation that matched the same direction as her face — seamless pre-computer editing there. Upon closer examination, you can see where her ex’s chin is on the left-hand side, and the head is a little too big, but it doesn’t take away from the overall appearance.

Many people in the comments section said they did similar things but with different actors’ heads like Mario Lopex, Harrison Ford, and George Clooney.

Do you know anyone who did this? If you liked the way you looked in a photo, would you do something like this as well?
