Making fudge during the winter season isn’t uncommon, but you’re much more likely to see something chocolatey than you are to see this snowy little treat. And that’s kind of a shame. It has a delightful combination of sweet white chocolate and tart dried cranberries, and with just five ingredients and only a microwave needed to create it, it’s super simple to whip up. (What I’m saying is, we should all be making much, much more of this White Chocolate Cranberry Fudge.)

You start by microwaving some white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk together until the chocolate has melted.

And then you stir in some vanilla extract, dried cranberries, and salt before spreading the mixture into a pan.

Let it sit at room temperature or chill in the fridge until it’s firm, and then slice and serve. How easy is that?

With just about ten minutes of effort, you end up with some delicious and festive fudge and a unique way to ring in the treat-making season.

Preparation
  1. Line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang over the sides.
  2. In a large heatproof bowl, microwave the white chocolate and sweetened condensed milk for 60 seconds. Stir and microwave again for 30 seconds if needed to melt chocolate completely.

  4. Let cool to room temperature, or chill in refrigerator, until firm. Slice into squares, serve, and enjoy!
