Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Food is wonderful, especially when it is delivered. I can’t tell you how many times life has felt that little bit better when food is arriving on my doorstep rather than me having to cook it.

We all know that sometimes life can get overwhelming, and meal prepping is the last thing that anyone wants to do after a long day of work. As a result, many of us are probably quite familiar with Uber Eats or some other delivery service in order to get dinner on the table with minimal effort.

For most, the manner in which our food gets delivered is quite mundane. Someone shows up in a standard car, and no one thinks twice about the vehicle used by the delivery driver.

But that is about to change for the better. Quite soon, if you’re ordering a late-night snack from KFC, it will be showing up in a Batmobile! Yes, you read that correctly.

According to Bracknell News, Uber Eats has made the announcement that they will be offering special deliveries made through retro cars. It is all in celebration of KFC’s new Zinger Popcorn Bucket, which is out only for a limited time.

Those who order by October 4 in the London area and order a new KFC meal from Uber Eats will be treated to a delivery from the Batmobile…or a “Ghostbusters” Echto-1, or possible an Aston Martin DB5 like in the James Bond franchise.

Uber Eats is a food delivery that definitely has done its homework. The food delivery service went through a survey of 2,000 U.K. adults in order to see what movie cars ranked as the greatest. Naturally, the Aston Martin DB5 took the top place, with the second spot going to 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 from the “Back to the Future” movies.

Are you going to be ordering a meal via Batmobile this month? Let us know!
