Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

My favorite part about Thanksgiving is all the leftovers you get to eat the entire week afterward.

Most people like to create a sandwich out of the leftovers, but I recently found this stuffing waffle recipe from TODAY RECIPES that looks delicious!

To make the waffle, you need to make sure to only use basic stuffing that doesn’t have larger pieces of vegetables or meats (Like sausage). You also need to warm up your stuffing in the microwave prior to mixing it with the eggs and broth (This will make sense in the preparation section).

A waffle made from stuffing will take longer than a traditional waffle because the eff must completely cook throughout.

Ingredients:

– 4 cups leftover stuffing, crumbled

– 2 large eggs

– Chicken broth or turkey stock, as needed

– Leftover cranberry sauce, for serving

– Leftover gravy, for serving

– Leftover turkey, for serving

Preparation:

1. Preheat your waffle iron and grease it with cooking spray.

2. In a large bowl, stir together your leftover stuffing with two eggs. Add ¼ cup of chicken broth and mix well until it is combined. Continue adding your chicken broth as needed until the mixture is moist.

3. Scoop half of the stuffing mixture into your heated waffle maker while making sure to spread it evenly. The stuffing will not expand like normal waffle mix. Wait until it is crispy and golden brown with the eggs being completely cooked.

4. Serve your waffles with leftover turkey, cranberry sauce, and warm gravy.
