When you are taking a stroll through the forest, you expect to see plenty of nature. This would include trees, bushes, and all types of little critters. If you happen to be strolling through the forest in Almaty, Kazakhstan, you are going to see something quite different.

Of course, it’s something that fits in well with the beauty of the forest. Anybody who loves nature or architecture is sure to appreciate the concept and the execution of the project. It is known as “Tree in the House” – a project by architect Aibek Almasov.

Almasov had a desire to bring together architecture, industrial design, and the beauty of nature. He does it by creating a glass house that has a fir tree in the center. It’s beautiful that the tree is incorporated directly into the design, but it is even more. The structure is actually built around it. At four stories high, the transparent walls create something unique. It’s beautiful on the outside and no doubt, it is beautiful on the inside.
