People Are Putting ‘Tiny Faces’ On Their Noses For A New Makeup Challenge

Being in lockdown has given many of us plenty of extra time. Some of us have taken that time to get creative – whatever that means to us. And one beauty YouTube, Jaime French, has inspired plenty of people to get creative with their makeup in a very unique and quirky way.
Following her tutorial on how to create a “tiny face,” people have been following the now-viral video’s instructions and the results are creatively hilarious. The makeup twist is actually pretty easy to accomplish using makeup as well as adding scarf or turtleneck to the mix.
The trick is to contour cheekbones, while also drawing a bridge on the nose, then adding some lipstick to the bottom of your nose. All these tricks then add up to an illusion that you have a mini face – once you’ve covered up your actual mouth and chin with a scarf or turtleneck.
As Jaime shared on her YouTube channel, “I’ve seen this illusion over the years but I was sparked to try it when I recently saw a girl on TikTok do it.”
In the ensuing 8-minute video, she shared her process for transforming her face into a tiny face. She began first by applying concealer, then contoured her cheekbones with the help of concealer, a contour stick, and glow powder. Then, once she had the base all done, she was ready for the real magic to begin. Using a felt tip eyeliner and liquid lipstick, she drew the outline for her baby nose and mouth. Then, she finished off the look with a scarf to complete the illusion. In order to make it look like she was “talking” she simply scrunched her nose in order to move the little lips.
Given how hilarious the video was, there were lots of others who decided to recreate the look using their own faces, and soon, social media was overwhelmed with lots of tiny faces.
