It doesn’t matter who we are, we are all going to have regrets in life. For some people, those regrets come and go, but for others, they leave a lasting impression. That is especially true if you regret getting a tattoo!

As you can imagine, most people spend quite a bit of time deciding what they will have tattooed on their body. After all, it’s a permanent decision and not one that should be made on a whim. Sometimes, it’s almost as if the tattoo chooses us, because it is something that defines us in some way or another.

That was the case with Leah Holland, a TikTok user who finally decided to get her tattoo after thinking about doing it for years. She had a particular quote that she loved, so it was a no-brainer to have it tattooed on her arm.

That is when Holland made the decision to have the tattoo. The date? March 4, 2020. In talking about the tattoo with BuzzFeed, she said that the decision to get the tattoo was not a bad one but the timing was way off! You see, two days after Holland got the tattoo, Covid-19 showed up in Kentucky, her home state.

So what was the tattoo that Holland decided to get that now she regrets? Watch the video to find out:

#stitch with @hannanicbic I could NOT have had worse timing. #fyp #foryoupage #tattoo #worsttattoo #winner P.S. I’m not anti-mask I promise 🤦🏻‍♀️

That’s right, Holland now has a permanent reminder of that saying, which reads: “Courageously and radically refuse to wear a mask.”

Although it must be frustrating to have a tattoo that you will regret, she managed to find at least a little humor in the situation. It seems as if many others on TikTok are finding the humor as well. Some pass on their regrets, but most just congratulate her for winning with a smile.
