There’s no doubt about it, snow is beautiful. The big white snowflakes falling gently to the ground, the soft hills and slopes created by the wind and accumulating snow, and of course, it gives us the perfect opportunity to stay indoors and curl up by the fire with a mug of hot chocolate.

For news reporters, however, snow is a different story. The show must go on, as they say. Through ice, wind, and blizzards, the faithful news crews of these stations brave the weather to bring us our nightly news… along with a few laughs.

Thanks to the internet, and specifically, YouTube, these hilarious moments are recorded and stored for future generations to watch and enjoy. It’s all in good fun, of course, no malicious intent here.

In the clip featured above, we have a reporter going about her duties, completely unaware of the gentleman behind her slipping and sliding on the ice. I’m sure no one watching at home was paying attention to her weather report with the poor man falling behind her!

Some of these news clips feature reporters joining in on the fun, while others, like the one pictured above, show the reporter being forced to join the fun – with a huge snowball to the face! Luckily, he took it all in stride and laughed at the whole incident.

Now this one is truly mind-boggling. We don’t get to see the whole clip, but what we see is plenty enough. The reporter was talking to some children on top of the sledding hill. Apparently, they gave her some tips on how to sled with the best of them. She then proceeded to sled down the hill on her stomach… which ended about as well as you think it would.
