Many people always consider Halloween to be a frightening holiday, but in the midst of the pandemic, it has taken on an even more frightening appearance.

Thankfully, any parents who are interested in celebrating Halloween this year can take their children to Target for a free, contactless trick-or-treating event.

The event will take place between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM at participating Target locations on October 31. It is known as the “Boo Avenue Drive-Through” and it will continue while supplies last. Employees at Target will offer treats along with fun activities while the children and parents stay in the vehicle, safe and sound. It is a socially distanced experience for trick-or-treaters.

They are encouraging parents to decorate their cars, and anyone in the car can wear a costume. It isn’t necessary to do either, however, if you want to participate. No sign up in advance is necessary, just show up for the fun.
