As any parent can tell you, it is nice to get a little more time to yourself when your kids finally grow up and leave the nest. However, it does not take long before you start to miss them and wish that they would visit home a bit more often.
That’s what makes this story such a special one. We love the connection that this young woman shares with her family. It is so fun to see.
Hannah Cho (she goes by @hannnahcho2 on TikTok) is the one who is sharing these videos.
The clip that you are about to see is equal parts heartwarming and hilarious. As it turns out, these visits are a pretty regular occurrence. You’re not going to see just one, you are going to get a whole montage by the time it’s all said and done.
“In college, I was notorious for coming home unannounced and surprising my parents,” the caption reads.
The funniest part of all is that her parents are usually so busy with what they have going on, they barely even notice her presence. It has to feel like second nature at that point. They were hardly surprised, from the looks of it.
“What are you doing? Are you kidding me?” says Cho’s mother in the montage’s first clip. “How did you come?” She may be stunned by the surprise appearance but she still stands up and gives her daughter a big hug. There are other clips that are even funnier but this is the one that we like the best.

From the looks of it, her dad seems to be in on the joke most of the time. There are a few where even he seems to be pretty shocked, though. “What? You liar!” he yelps, as he sees his daughter turning the corner.
The video got lots of comments and of course, people loved to see the awesome connection that she has with her family.

Our second favorite video is when Cho surprises them with a major change to her appearance. She gets a nose piercing but her parents do not seem all that pleased about it. That’s got to be a relatable moment to a lot of parents out there.
