Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

It’s hard to believe that it has been 25 years since the Scream movie franchise got started. It was one of those horror movies that still sends chills down our spine when we watch it, even if we know what is going to happen.

If you happen to be a fan of the movie franchise, then you will love the fact that you can stay at the house featured in the 1996 movie.

That’s right, starting October 12, you can rent the house on Airbnb.

According to the Airbnb listing, Sheriff Dewey Riley is offering the house for only $5 per night. You can stay there with three of your friends and enjoy a screaming good time.

There are likely to be other expenses associated with your trip, but the five dollars per night does cover the stay and your food. It’s a promotion to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the movie. They are also promoting the release of a new installment, which is due to come out in 2022.

You can enjoy your night at the house, but you do need to be aware of some restrictions. There is only one bedroom and one bathroom, so you will have to make that difficult decision if you are staying with others. No kids are allowed, and you have to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines.

One other restriction is that you can’t throw a party while you are staying at the Airbnb. If you do, you may just get an unexpected visit.

Then again, unexpected visits are what this stay is all about. They even have a dedicated phone line and if you aren’t careful, you may just get a call from Ghostface while you are staying.

Also, what is a stay at the Scream house be without a movie marathon? You can watch all four of the movies from the series, and they are available on VHS. Memorabilia is also yours for the taking.

If you are interested in trying to get a few nights, you can begin booking at 1 PM EST on October 12. The nights available include October 27, 29, and 31st.
