Now that the social distancing guidelines have been put into place, there are a number of people who do not seem to think that it applies to them. That’s where people like Samuel L. Jackson come into play. He’s not here for the nonsense and he is letting the nation know where he stands on this topic. If you are even a little familiar with his films, you know that he has an affinity for four-letter words.
When he popped up on Jimmy Kimmel Live, we knew that he would have a great message to offer us. We also knew that he was going to pepper this particular tirade with lots of four-letter words. The bedtime story that he offered the audience comes with a twist, it’s not exactly suitable for your little ones.
The popular children’s book “Go The **** To Sleep” was altered to match the current mood of the nation. Instead of being told to go the heck (our word, not his) to sleep, viewers were told to stay at home. His book is called “Stay The **** At Home” and we cannot stop laughing. While we’re not potty mouths ourselves, there is something about Samuel L.’s delivery that makes it hilarious.
Sometimes, we all need a little bit of tough love and Jackson is the perfect man to provide it.
Samuel’s story has a very simple moral: we need to be staying home and paying close attention to the social distancing guidelines. People have to stop acting like they are untouchable. Samuel L. Jackson is one of the baddest men on the planet and if he is telling you to stay at home, what choice do you have? He is certainly taking the pandemic seriously…..you do not have any excuses.
