If you’re a fan of the sweet and salty combo then this recipe is for you! These Salted Caramel Blondies strike the perfect balance between easy and indulgent. A simple batter comes together in minutes and then a silky ribbon of caramel is swirled through the top, yum! They’re easy enough to throw together on a weekday but decadent enough to steal the show at a potluck or holiday gathering. With this recipe you don’t have to compromise!

The batter for these blondies comes together in the blink of an eye. Just melt your butter, stir in brown sugar until it’s light and smooth, then whisk in your eggs and vanilla. A gentle fold of the dry ingredients (and optional white chocolate chips if you’re feeling indulgent) gives you a rich base. All it needs now is the caramel!

Melt some Kraft caramel squares in the microwave with a splash of heavy cream until the mixture is smooth and pourable. Drizzle it in a zig zag over the batter and marble it into the top with a knife or toothpick. Once the blondies are baked to golden perfection, sprinkle on some flaky sea salt for the final touch. It’s best to allow the blondies to cool before slicing, but if you can’t wait we won’t judge. Whether you serve them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or pack them up for a picnic, these blondies never last long. Happy baking!
