Ree Drummond, also known as The Pioneer Woman, is known for many things. Besides having a successful career where she brings us all kinds of fun recipes, she’s also known for her unique sense of style. Drummond loves to wear floral blouses – she’s even starting her own clothing line – but she’s particularly known for a statement jewelry piece that she constantly wears.

Drummond’s silver bangle is something that she wears all the time. But it’s not just her favorite go-to piece, there is actually a very special meaning behind it.

Drummond was conducting a virtual Frontier Follies book tour, during which she and her daughter, Paige, conducted a Q&A segment. They covered a wide variety of topics, such as her family, the projects she is working on, and the bracelet that she constantly wears. It was during this chat that Drummond revealed the very touching story about her bracelet.

According to The Pioneer Woman website, she explained, “I never take this off, and it’s a bangle that says, ‘Lord make me an instrument of thy peace.’ It’s the first line of the Prayer of St. Frances.”

She further discussed that she has worn it for about 10 or 12 years. She shared that it is her way of reminding herself to always try to make the world a better and more peaceful place. She called it her daily reminder, something that she sees on her wrist throughout the day.

For anyone who likes the sweet meaning of the bracelet and would like to get one of their own, Drummond lamented that her exact bracelet has been discontinued. Although, she did share a similar-looking one from James Avery who also has a nice verse on it that says, “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me.”
