Ingredients
  • 1 12-oz box Corn Chex
  • 1 12-box Rice Chex
  • 1 7-oz bag of Bugles
  • 4 cups pretzels
  • 2 cups sesame sticks
  • 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, browned
  • 1 1/2 cups Karo corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 cup toasted sesame seeds, white (& black sesame seeds)
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F and prepare two sheet trays.
  2. Brown the butter in a pot over medium - high heat until it starts to smell toasted. Add corn syrup, sugar, vegetable oil, soy sauce, and sesame oil, then reduce the heat to low.
  3. Add the sesame seeds to the butter mixture and turn off the heat.
  4. In a large bowl, toss together the Chex, Bugles, pretzels, and sesame sticks. Pour the sugar mixture over the mix and toss together.
  5. Divide the mix between both sheet trays and bake for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
  6. Enjoy!
