Ingredients
  • 1 (13.25 oz) devil’s food cake mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sauerkraut
  • 1 (20 oz) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a standard bundt pan.
  2. Rinse and drain sauerkraut, then finely chop.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, eggs, and oil and mix until smooth.
  4. Mix in chopped sauerkraut until evenly combined.
  5. Transfer batter to the prepared bundt pan and bake for 22-25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cake cool 10-15 minutes then invert onto a serving plate.
  7. Spoon cherry pie filling on top of cake before serving.
