Ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, plus more for greasing
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Preparation
  1. Liberally grease a baking sheet with butter. Set aside.
  2. In a large glass bowl, stir together sugar and corn syrup. Microwave on high power for 3 1/2 minutes.
  3. Stir in peanuts and salt, then microwave again on high power for 3 minutes, stirring hallway through cooking time.
  4. Stir in butter and vanilla until melted, then microwave once more on high power for 1 1/2 minutes.
  5. Stir in baking soda and pour out onto prepared baking sheet. Spread out lightly and allow to cool.
  6. Once cool, break into pieces and enjoy!
All you need is your microwave and a glass bowl!
