Ingredients
  • 2-lb bag frozen Italian-style meatballs
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 8 slices Texas toast
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
  1. Bake Texas toast according to package instructions. Remove and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Line a baking dish with Texas toast slices. Break up slices as needed to create a single layer across the bottom of the dish.
  4. Add cream cheese and ricotta to a small pot over low heat. Stir until melted, then stir in Italian seasoning and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour cheese sauce over Texas toast layer.
  6. Stir meatballs into marinara sauce, then spoon over the cheese sauce layer. Top with mozzarella, then bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
